Influence Clothing was launched in 1987 by husband and wife team, Stephen and Karen Dewhurst.  While Stephen had the business skills to drive operations, Karen brought international design experience.  Our quick turnaround times and innovative design remain the hallmarks of our service to clients.

Although we have expanded steadily over the years, having outgrown two premises before settling into our current home in Parow Industria, Cape Town, we continue to service many of our original clients.

Broad–based Black Economic Empowerment
We are in the process of implementing our Broad-based Black Economic Empowerment Strategy.  Our immediate goal is to achieve a Level Four Contributor status.  This requires a minimum of 65 points on the Generic Scorecard and achieves a 100% BEE procurement recognition level.  We have appointed SEESA BEE as our BEE advisors.
